Biography
Heidi found her passion for music at a very early age. At just four years old, while hanging out at her favorite place, the neighbors swing, the little girl with the pixie tails got bored with singing, ”Itsy Bitsy Spider”, and her mom, heard her for the first time make up her own song.
Years later, after having lived in Greece, NYC and now while residing in Los Angeles, Heidi released her first songs under the artist name ”Songs of Luna”. The singles “A Boy I Like” and ”On A Sunday”, both written by her, had airplay on the biggest Danish radio station P4.
”A Boy I Like” was on Chartbase.dks top 100 chart for 18 weeks and peaked at #12. Chartbase.dk’s own, VanCairo wrote: The debut single "A Boy I Like" is a wonderful refreshing Singer-Songwriter Pop-song. Colbie Caillats happy and positive sound, seems like a matching comparison. The song puts you in a really good mood and you easily get caught by the tune. The production is great and the vocal is much more than nice.
Her album "Given life" was released October 8th 2015, and her first single "Ain't Easy" also had airplay on Danish National Radio P4.
In the time between being the little girl sitting on the neighbor’s swing and having her songs played on the radio, Heidi was a suggested artist in 2008 for her song "Waking up the sun” and received in 2004 an Honorable Mentions, for her song “Nothing We Can do”, from the “Song of the year contest”. In 2003 she received “The Diamond Halo Award” for her “Outstanding Contribution to The Entertainment Industry”, from The Southern California Motion Picture Council. She also sang jazz, pop, rock and Gospel in various bands and being a member of The Harlem Gospel Choir for two years, with whom she performed on “Good Morning America” twice. In addition she has been co-writing with among others; Stacy Widelitz (”Candle In The Wind” from Dirty Dancing), Matt Giraud (American Idol), Thomas Buttenschon, Producer-songwriter Boe Larsen, producer-songwriter Søren Jacobsen & B Joe Johansen, Michael Hartmann(hush), Merrily Weeber and American singer/songwriter Ariana Diloranzo from Ariana & The Rose.
